South Bay Mothers at the San Jose City Council Meeting!

Members of South Bay Mothers Out Front (including moms Angie, Linda, Martina and Amanda plus four children) attended the August 9th San Jose (CA) City Council meeting to show our enthusiasm for San Jose Clean Energy (the nation’s largest Community Choice Energy program), our support for Mayor Liccardo's recommendation that the City affirm that we are still in the Paris Climate Accord, and our hope that the City Council will pass a resolution supporting California Senate Bill 100, the California Clean Energy Act, which will commit California to 100% clean energy by 2045 and to 50% clean energy by 2026.

Over the weekend, some of the South Bay Mothers Out Front team met to plan next steps. We can’t wait to gather again when the rest of the team is back from summer vacation!
